In 2005, I was arrested, tried and convicted of a crime I DID NOT COMMIT. After three years
of fighting the judicial system, my wife lost hope; and fearing I'd never get out, she divorced
me and moved on with her life. Thanks to the Innocence Project of Houston, I once again have
hope for a life outside of prison. In the free world, I was a successful home builder. I owned
and operated a small construction and flooring company in Austin, Texas (D.Q. Construction
& Floors). When not working, I enjoyed the outdoors, sports, country music, riding motorcycles
and doing home repairs. In here, I maintain my health and sanity by reading, writing, studying
the Bible and working out. I'm looking for pen-pals from all walks of life and especially those in
the military or in the Austin and Palestine areas, to build friendships with and possibly
establish relationships, people with which to share ideas, goals and good conversation with.
